The Westchester County Youth Bureau and Youth Board are seeking nominations for the Rosemarie Siragusa Memorial Youth Service Award which recognizes adults in Westchester County who demonstrate exemplary dedication to children, youth, and families through their volunteer work.
The Rosemarie Siragusa Memorial Youth Service Award has been presented annually since 2012 in memory of Rosemarie Siragusa, the founder and first chair of the Westchester County Youth Board. She dedicated her life to helping children and the award is given to up to three deserving adult youth advocates who have embodied her work and commitment.
Nominations must be received by September 9, 2026 at 5 p.m. and can be accessed and submitted through this link nominations for the 2026 Rosemarie Siragusa Youth Service Award . The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 21 at 5 p.m. at the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “One of Westchester’s biggest assets is its young people, but not every young person grows up in a stable, supportive environment that allows them to flourish and become a productive member of the community. Fortunately, we have exemplary residents throughout the County who are dedicated to a better quality of life for these young people and their families. For 14 years, we have taken time to honor a small number of these special residents who are nominated by their peers, friends and family. I encourage everyone to help us find these unsung heroes.”
